California Man Accused of Voting in Three Elections as his Dead Mom

A California man has been charged with three felonies after authorities discovered he'd voted in three elections as his dead mother.

Los Angeles County prosecutors say Caesar Peter Abutin's mom died in July 2006 at the age of 67.

However in a supernatural twist, she somehow managed to vote in three different elections.

Normally voter fraud charges are rarely filed in LA County, but officials say it was the repeated pattern of voting that raised some flagsw.

Abutin, who faces up to three years in state prison if he's convicted, has entered a "not guilty" plea in the case.
