Bryan Suits on the Massive Beirut Explosion

More than 100 people are confirmed dead and at least 4,000 injured after a major explosion hit the Lebanese city of Beirut yesterday.

The explosion was so powerful that it not only leveled parts of the city, shockwaves could be felt more than 150 miles away in Cyprus.

Officials say the blast was caused by the detonation of almost 3,000 tons of ammonium nitrate that had been stored in a warehouse near the port of Beruit since it was confiscated from a cargo ship six years ago.

Bryan Suits joined Handel to discuss the explosion and the aftermath.
