Accused 'Mastermind' Behind Massive Twitter Hack Arrested... And It's A Kid

The accused mastermind behind a massive Twitter hack that targeted numerous high-profile celebrities and accounts, is none other than... a kid from Florida...

Graham Ivan Clark was arrested on Friday in Tampa, but it turns out that the feds were already looking into him before he hacked Twitter. Back in April, the Secret Service seized more than $700,000 in Bitcoin money from the 17-year-old!

Due to the ongoing law enforcement investigation, Twitter is waiting to release a more detail report of what happened. But here's what we know so far:

First, the hackers stole Twitter employee credentials, then they stole and sold individual accounts by resetting their passwords. The looting then evolved even more into a Bitcoin scam, netting more than $180,000 worth.

"This attack relied on a significant and concerted attempt to mislead certain employees and exploit human vulnerabilities to gain access to our internal systems," the company later tweeted.

The boy now faces 30 felony charges, according to a news release.
