WILMINGTON (CNS) -A man shot to death in Wilmington was a resident of nearby San Pedro, authorities said today.
Kevin Yarbrough Jr. was 31, according to the coroner's office.
Police responded to a reported assault with a deadly weapon at 12:30 a.m. Saturday at 1025 McFarland Ave., according to Sgt. Robin Aguirre of the LAPD Harbor Station.

Officers found a man who was not conscious, nor breathing, and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Aguirre said.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
