More big-name retailers are pulling Washington Redskins merchandise off their shelves as controversy over the team's nickname continues.

Walmart, Target, and Dick's Sporting Goods appear to have pulled all Washington-related merch. Major sponsors like Nike, Pepsi, and FedEx have also called on the team to change its name.

“Given today’s announcement by the NFL and the Washington team’s ownership, we are discontinuing the sale of items that reference the team’s name and logo, Walmart wrote, without using the Redskins name.

Last week, the team promised a "thorough review" of its nickname. In past years, owner Daniel Snyder has insisted the team name would never change.
