One of the former Minneapolis police officers charged in the death of George Floyd has been released from jail.
Tou Thao is the third former officer charged in Floyd's death to be released from jail after posting $750,000 bond on Saturday, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
The officer who placed his knee on Floyd's neck, Derek Chauvin, is still in custody and faces second and third degree-murder charges as well as second-degree murder charge.
Thao will faces aiding and abetting second-degree murder and manslaughter charges on September 11th.
