Scotland Residents Keep Pooping on Grounds of Queen's Vacation House

Apparently, U.S. residents aren't the only people who are unhappy with their leadership. In Scotland, people are showing their dissatisfaction with Queen Elizabeth by pooping on the grounds of her vacation home.

Most public facilities are closed in the United Kingdom due to the country's lockdown, but people are allowed to exercise and socialize outside, leading many to seek quiet public places if nature calls during a day out.

"People are choosing to relieve themselves right next to busy paths or monuments, rather than move a little bit further away to avoid contamination," a statement released by Balmoral Castle reads. "We are seeing a lot of non biodegradable wipes being discarded in the countryside."

Oddly enough, because there are no public restrooms anywhere near the castle, the Balmoral staff has come to accept cleaning up visitors' poop on a regular basis. They're just asking visitors to relieve themselves in less conspicuous places. "If you need to defecate, do so as far away as possible from buildings, paths, water courses and farm animals," the statement reads. "Bury feces in a shallow hole and replace the turf."
