Looking for some summer fun?
Drive-in style movies are coming to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena!
It will run July 2- July 26.
The series kicks off with director Steven Spielbergâs 1975 thriller âJawsâ at 8:15 p.m. July 2 and wraps with Tim Burtonâs âBeetlejuiceâ at 8:45 p.m. July 26. There are a slew of comedy films (âSuperbad,â âMean Girls,â âPee-Weeâs Big Adventure,â âGirls Trip,â âBridesmaids,â âMeet the Parents,â âMeet the Fockersâ) and kids movies (âInside Out,â Invasion,â âLego Movie,â âSpy Kidsâ).
Theyâll also screen sports films (âField of Dreams,â âSpace Jam,â âGloves Off,â âCreed,â âFriday Night Lightsâ), action movies (âWonder Woman,â âThe Dark Knightâ), dramas (âStraight Outta Compton,â âDo The Right Thingâ), the classics (âThe Goonies,â âThe Never Ending Story,â âApollo 13,â âE.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,â âThe Wizard of Ozâ) and more.
Tickets are around $27 and are available in advance. Parking spots are on a first-come, first-served basis. Masks are required if a guest leaves the vehicle.
The vehicles will be staggered to accommodate premium viewing and parked at least six feet apart and the movies will be broadcast via FM radio.
