The eighth grade class at the Waldorf School in Santa Fe, New Mexico had their rafting trip cancelled because of the coronavirus. Instead of keeping the money they raised for the trip, they decided to use it to help the Navajo Nation, which has been hit especially hard by the pandemic. A class mother spoke to Navajo leaders to find out what items would help them the most, and then drove with some of the kids to deliver the diapers, water, food and other items they bought with the rafting money.
