Maryland Restaurant Uses Inflated Inner Tubes to Keep Customers Apart

The owners of a Maryland restaurant have come up with a unique way to make sure customers follow social distancing requirements.

Inflated inner tubes!

To stop customers from getting too close to each other every table in Ocean City's Fish Tales Bar and Grill has been fitted with a large inner tube.

Owner Shawn Harmon says that when customers are allowed to return, each will be fitted with a tube upon entry.

Although it's unclear when Fish Tales will be open and able to put their idea to work officially, video of a test run shows that the method seems to work perfectly.

When customers attempt to get close to each other or another's table, they're stopped short by their tubes bouncing off each other.
