The CDC has revised its social distancing guidelines to now include your pets.
In response to recent reports of domesticated animals testing positive for COVID-19, the CDC says the same rules can apply to both humans and pets.
Just like with people, keep them at least six feet away from other animals and people from other households.
The CDC also recommends keeping them away from anyone in the home who comes down with the virus.
While the agency says it still isn't clear how easily the virus can be spread between humans and animals it's better to be safe than sorry.
