Most store owners are always wary of losing money to thieves. Whether they get held up by a gun-toting robber or an employee skims a little cash out of the register, there are many ways proprietors can succumb to theft. One shop owner in Brazil became a victim of the crime recently. He began to realize that someone was taking money from the cash drawer in his business so he decided to not just find out who was responsible, but get some vengeance at the same time, and he recorded it all on his cell phone.
What he did was position his phone so the camera was facing the cash drawer, where he had set up a booby trap. He left the drawer ajar and in it placed a mousetrap on a string. Then, he waited, and before long, he caught his thief red-handed - literally.
Even though the woman tried to play it cool and act like nothing happened, the owner had the video as evidence of her attempted robbery and he submitted it along with a police report.
