Hall of Fame retired Dodger broadcaster Vin Scully was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after he suffered injuries during a fall in his home.
According to a tweet from the Dodgers Thursday afternoon, Scully, 92, fell in his home Tuesday afternoon.
“He is hospitalized and resting comfortably,” according to the team.
The extent of Scully's injuries were not released.
In a statement provided by the Dodgers, Scully said, "I won't be doing anymore headfirst sliding. I never liked it."
Scully retired as the Dodgers' broadcaster after the 2016 seasons after spending 67 seasons in the broadcast booth.
