With COVID-19 turning a trip to the grocery store into anything but routine, Nature's Produce, a wholesaler of fresh produce and other items for some of the finest restaurants, hotels and bars in the state, has opened their doors to the general public to help aid the community get the fresh food they need during this time.
Food and produce that would normally be sold and delivered to your favorite restaurant has become available to the public for the first time. The food wholesaler has pivoted to help feed the public who have been faced with long lines, shortages of basic items and risking their health by going outside.
Nature's Produce has created an online order guide that lists items currently available to order by the public that includes a description and price.
"Please understand that our stock will be adjusting as we work with our suppliers and growers to fulfill this unprecedented increase in demand for the public’s need," the company states on its website.
"We are proud to assist the public and thank you for utilizing our services in order to help take pressure off our grocery stores, increase social distancing and ultimately slow the spread of this terrible virus."

Nature’s Produce will be offering orders available for pickup:
3305 Bandini Blvd, Vernon, CA 90058
- Pickup Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.
- Pickup Time: 10:00 AM-4:00 PM (Available appointment day will be defaulted based upon earliest availability).
- Pickup orders have a $50 minimum.
- Please enter your First and Last name in the PO line before checkout so we can quickly retrieve your order upon arrival.
- Please also feel free to print out an order confirmation and bring this with you upon pickup although it is not necessary.
- Payments will be made at the time of pickup.
When you arrive at the location, customers are advised to proceed to the first gate where they will be assigned a loading door by an employee. Customers are asked to remain in their vehicles as employees retrieve their order and collect payment.
Customers can pay using cash and credit cards only at the time of pickup. An order guide is available on Nature Produce's website with the items currently available for order.
Nature's Produce is asking customers to keep in mind that they will be adjusting their stock while they work with their suppliers and pivot to help fulfill the increase in demand for the public's need.
