LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A two-hour special featuring performances by some of music's top names curated by Lady Gaga to help raise funds for the fight against the coronavirus outbreak will simultaneously air on ABC, CBS, NBC, The CW and several cable networks tonight from 8-10 p.m.
Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Elton John are among the artists set to appear on “One World: Together at Home” which will support the COVID- 19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization.
The special will also celebrate and support health care workers and feature experiences from doctors, nurses and families around the world.
It will be hosted by late-night talk show hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel.
Other artists set to appear include Taylor Swift, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, Eddie Vedder, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Alicia Keys, Celine Dion and Sam Smith.
Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, Amy Poehler, David Beckham and the “Sesame Street” Muppets are also set to appear.
The special will also be shown on a variety of cable networks, including MTV and BET. It will also be shown in more than 180 nations.
A six-hour streamed event will lead up to the special. It will include performances and appearances by Adam Lambert, Billy Ray Cyrus, Common, Jack Black, Jason Segel, Jennifer Hudson, Kesha, Lady Antebellum, Michael Buble, Samuel L Jackson, Sarah Jessica Parker and Sheryl Crow.
