Since the coronavirus outbreak, health officials have been warning people to not touch their faces and to wash your hands constantly.
However, it turns out that something you carry everyday could harbor more than 10 times the bacteria found on a toilet seat.
Before you freak out, there are some cleaning steps you can take.
Turn your device off, remove the case (if you have one) and wipe it down using a microfiber cloth.
Then, use a mix of water and rubbing alcohol to sanitize.
If your phone is waterproof you could also try to clean it under the tap or try a UV light to kill bacteria.
