LA Animal Services will offer free spay and neuter surgeries for cats through April 30th.
LA Animal Services General Manager Brenda Barnette says the services are being offered because the centers see an influx of kittens brought in during May and June.
“By spaying and neutering your companion cat, you’re helping to reduce unwanted kitten births in the city.”
Certificates to cover the cost for the services will be made available online or by visiting a LA Animal Services Center.
