Fantasy Baseball Players Sue MLB, Astros Over Cheating Scandal

Do you play fantasy baseball? Did you miss out on some money thanks to The Cheaters?

A Florida man wants you to join his class action lawsuit against MLB, the Astros, and the Red Sox over the cheating scandal. Christoper Clifford claims that sports bettors were victimized by the cheating teams and that MLB turned a blind eye towards their conduct for years.

He filed the class action complaint on February 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

The suit is seeking compensation for anyone who played fantasy baseball through sites like DraftKings or FanDuel between 2017 and 2019.

"I knew about that stuff two years ago. I'm glad it came out. It was getting out of hand," Jonathan Lucroy said.
