Turns out Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna have already been laid to rest.
According to the death certificate, the private funeral was held on Friday, Feb. 7, and their remains were transferred to Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary in Corona Del Mar, California.
"Vanessa and the family wanted a private service to mourn their loss," a source told Entertainment Tonight. "The ceremony was extremely hard for everyone as it's still hard for them to grasp they lost two beautiful souls."
The document stated that the official cause of death was "blunt force trauma."
A public memorial for the two, as well as the other victims of the crash, is now scheduled for Feb. 24 at the Staples Center.
