The coronavirus is not letting up... Especially not in China. And now, Chinese citizens are using whatever they can to guard themselves against the disease.
Iceberg lettuce, orange peels, bras, YOU NAME IT... It's being used as a face mask.
According to the Daily Mail, even feminine sanitary pads are being used to cover faces in absence of actual medical face masks. This is all happening as more than 50 million people have been placed on lock-down in China due to the deadly virus. China has confirmed 170 deaths, so far.
Chinese health officials have also stated that masks should be thrown away and replaced every four hours.
