LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $3.596, its fourth consecutive decrease.
The average price is a seven-tenths of cent less than one week ago and 5.8 cents lower than one month ago, but 29 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped a half-cent to $3.542, one day after rising two-tenths of a cent. It is eight-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 3 cents lower than one month ago, but 26.8 cents more than one year ago.
