LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A storm approaching from the north today is forecast to bring gusty winds and some light showers to Los Angeles County, with the possibility of snow to the Grapevine, making travel difficult.
Wind gusts from 40 to 50 mph, with possible isolated gusts of 60 mph, were possible for Los Angeles County, the National Weather Service said.
A wind advisory is in effect in the mountains until 3 a.m. Friday.
“We could see snow on the Grapevine Thurs, and with these gusty winds, travel could be difficult,” the weather service tweeted Wednesday night.
Less than an inch of snow was predicted for the Grapevine.
The low pressure system is forecast to move quickly through the region, with sunny skies expected on Friday.
