The pope is often seen being super giving with his time in terms of greeting the public...
Though some people take his grace with them a bit too far...
Pope Francis was greeting a crowd at St. Peter's Square on New Year's Eve, shaking hands and saying hello to kids.
After he reached out to a child and turned away, a woman leaps for his hand and yanks him backwards.
Clearly upset, the pope tries to break away from the woman's grip and eventually has to hit her hands to break her hold.
Later, Pope Francis issued an apology saying he had lost patience and was remorseful for the "bad example" he set.
