Probe Finds that PG&E had Major Problems with Power Line Maintenance

A recent probe has revealed that PG&E did not properly inspect and replace transmission lines before a faulty wire sparked a massive wildfire last year.

The investigation revealed that the Caribou-Palermo transmission line is what sparked 2018's Camp Fire that almost completely destroyed the town of Paradise.

PG&E responded to this report and has acknowledged the role of its equipment in the fire and apologized for the disaster.
