Meet P-77, the Newest Addition to Join the Study of Big Cats in LA Area

A recently discovered cougar in the Simi Hills is the newest addition to a long-term study of mountain lions in the Los Angeles area.

Named P-77, the nearly two-year-old female was captured and fitted with a radio collar before being re-released in to the hills.

This cougar is the third this year to join the National Park Service's study, which studies the mountain lions as they live in the growing metropolitan areas.
