LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Firefighters battled a brushfire that threatened structures in La Canada today, authorities said.
The fire was reported about 11:45 a.m. in the 5300 block of Godby Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters stopped the forward progress of the blaze within an hour, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Altadena Station.
No injuries were immediately reported.
