The chief executive officer of Mc'Donald's, Steve Easterbrook has been fired due to a consensual relationship he had with an employee.This relationship violated company policy. Easterbrook became the C.E.O. of the famous fast-food chain in 2015. In an email to the employees, Easterbrook stated, "This was a mistake...Given the values of the company, I agree with the board that is time for me to move on."
The company board made the decision to fire Easterbook Friday and revealed that he had "demonstrated poor judgement."
