ANAHEIM (CNS) - Disneyland's new holiday features this year include a dance party for guests and a live performance starring Mickey Mouse and his friends, beginning Friday.
“Mickey's Happy Holidays” will feature popular Disney and Pixar characters who will dance to “high-energy music, led by the merry rhythms of the Holiday Toy Drummers.” The show will also include the Country Bears characters from the 2002 Disney movie.
A Holiday Dance Party will be held each evening in Tomorrowland Terrace, where a DJ will spin popular holiday songs.
Other features that return this year, beginning Friday, include the Disney Festival of Holidays, which celebrates various seasonal festivities such as Christmas, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day.
And with the sequel to “Frozen” opening on Nov. 22, the park will spotlight characters Anna, Elsa and Olaf on their own float in the Christmas Fantasy parades.
The Holiday Sunset Concerts will this year feature the Suffragettes and Phat Cat Swinger, as well as performances by Mostly Kosher, Blue 13 Dance Company, the Sound and Mariachi Divas.
Various rides and attractions will feature a holiday theme and guests will see a 50-foot Christmas tree as they enter the park.
