Garden Grove Police Seek Suspect Seen on Video Robbing Frozen Yogurt Shop

GARDEN GROVE (CNS) - An armed suspect seen on security video robbing a frozen yogurt store in Garden Grove was sought by authorities this morning.

The video showed the suspect enter Berry's on Top Frozen Yogurt store at 12901 Harbor Blvd. in the Harbor Town and Country Shopping Center, at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 27, order and pay for a frozen yogurt, then pull a semi-automatic handgun as the cashier opens the register and demands she give him cash, according to Lt. Carl Whitney of the Garden Grove Police Department.

The clerk gave him the money and the suspect left the store and was last seen walking through the parking lot of the shopping center, Whitney said.

The suspect is Hispanic, in his 20s, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with a mustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and armed with a semi-automatic handgun, Whitney said.
