A New Study Suggests That Rejection May Help Your Career

Have you ever been denied a job you were really hoping to get? We've all been there and trust me, it sucks.

But it may not be as bad as we think.

According to a new Harvard study, getting denied from that job you were aiming for may actually be helpful to your career overall.

Researchers at the Harvard Business Review examined 1,000 early career scientists in the United States who missed out on a key grant by inches,

Through their studies, they were able to find that, in the long run, missing that opportunity actually led these scientists to producing higher impact work in comparison to those that got those wins over them.

They believe that these results show that failure can be used as a marker for future success.

So if you get denied soon, don't worry. It means a better opportunity is coming.
