It may be hard, but keep your rodent jokes to yourself...
Yesterday, a mouse fell from the White House ceiling and apparently landed in the lap of NBC News White House correspondent Peter Alexander.
Some other reporters ran away from the scene and others tried to corner the rodent to catch it.
Reports from the journalists in the room say the mouse slipped into the main hall of the press area before running off into the briefing room.
So far we don't believe the mouse has been caught, but those present have provided sporadic updates and it's pretty awesome:
