A five-year old in Anaheim who’s battling Leukemia has been granted his dream to be a police officer. The Make-A-WishcFoundation granted Abdul Abedi's dream of joining the Anaheim Police Department, having him go on an adventure and execute his own arrest mission. The Anaheim police chief gave the young detective a uniform and badge yesterday during an honorary swearing in ceremony.

Mohamed Abedi says it meant so much to see his son smile as he was sworn in by the police chief and given a uniform and badge.

"He was excited from day one. He knew he was going to be a cop one day in the Anaheim Police Department and he was so excited for this day."

Police cars escorted the young detective to places like Knot’s Berry Farm and Angels Stadium to recover Linus’ Blanket from the Toon Bandit. Many from the city og Anaheim took part in planning the day for the young Cop with arrest even being made at Incredi Pizza.

The final arrest however, was eventually made at the Anaheim Ducks stadium.
