A new Frozen-themed land is set to open in Disneyland Paris and the House of Mouse is finally giving fans a sneak peak. Though few details are known about the Arendelle-inspired area coming to the park, Disney revealed just enough to get us super excited for the the finished product. The Frozen-themed land is part of a multi-year expansion in the French theme park, so, all we know right now is it will debut in "the coming years."
"As part of the fully immersive land, guests will see in the distance the snow-capped mountain of Arendelle opposite a magnificent lake, with an attraction that will take them to the center of the Kingdom," a press release from Disney reveals. In addition to the mysterious new attraction, the area will also include character encounters, a new restaurant and a shop. We're keeping our fingers crossed the shop is actually themed after Wandering Oaken's Trading Post.
In the meantime, there's still a ton of fun Frozen-inspired activities happening at Disneyland Paris. A new live performance, which features Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, called Frozen Celebration runs four times per day, while Frozen: A Musical Invitation lets children interact with their favorite characters. If you're a stateside Disney World fan, though, you can always check out the Frozen ride in Epcot. The dark ride takes guests through the events of the movie and, yes, you can sing along to "Let It Go" with your kids.
