San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputy Nearly Shot With Own Gun

A San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputy is lucky to be alive after a suspect grabbed her gun and opened fire. In a cell phone video, the suspect can be seen punching the deputy before she opens fire. The suspect then grabs her gun and shoots in her direction. Seconds later, back-up arrives and shoots the suspect.

The suspect, 21-year-old Ari Young, was shot by responding deputies, but he is expected to survive. The deputy, Meagan Forsberg, only suffered minor injuries in the scuffle and was treated at the scene.

The incident began after Young's mother asked the department for help to remove her son from the house.
