An incident in Victorville today became increasingly violent after a suspect and deputy became entangled in a violent fight. Video from twitter user @Esteebanana shows the suspect punching on the fallen deputy before he grabs her gun. The user captured the video from a second story home window on the 13000 block of Cabazon Court. Immediately the neighborhood overhears multiple shots being fired directed at the deputy who runs off to hide. Three police vehicles are seen pulling up to the scene where another round of shots occur after yelling to the suspect, “drop the gun.” The incident began around 8:25 am and resulted in the deputy being taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was placed into an ambulance and airlifted to the hospital in an undisclosed condition.
Reports state that the suspects mother initially called authorities to remove the suspect from the home after he refused to leave.
