At least 34 people are missing and feared dead after a ship caught fire near Santa Cruz Island off the coast of California.
Coast Guard officials say the ship was 'The Conception', a 75-foot commercial diving ship that departed Saturday for a multi-day scuba diving trip with 39 people on board.
The Coast Guard says it was able to rescue five people with minor injuries. Officials say the fire made it impossible for rescuers to board the ship before it sank.
