Mrs. Maisel Returns this December!

If you're looking for a really fun, laugh out loud show, then you should be watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon.

It's a really, REALLY, great show. It has 20 Emmy nominations for its second season, and won 8 Emmys its first season. Rachel Brosnahan (Midge Maisel), and Alex Borstein (Susie Myerson) won in their Best Actress categories and the show won for 'Best Comedy Series'. That's huge for a show's first season.

These ladies, along with the rest of the cast, like Tony Shalhoub, who plays Midge's father Abe, and Jane Lynch, who plays Sophie Lennon, the only real successful female comic at the time, are just phenomenal and funny.

The main plot of the first season. Midge, is a happy, content married housewife in the 1950s who lives for her husband and children. But unbeknownst to her, her husband is miserable, having an affair with his secretary, and trying to forge a career in comedy. Unfortunately for him, he's not funny, and when he decides to leave Midge, she drowns her sorrows in wine and ends up on stage in her nightgown at a local comedy club, and KILLS it. Susie sees this and realizes, this woman is a natural comedian, and decides to become her manager and put her on the path to stardom, but there are some real problems along the way that might just derail her career before it really starts, including, having to hide her new career from her family and offending the world's most popular female comedian.

It's one of those shows where when you're done binge watching it, you're sad because it'll be awhile before you get another fix.

Now, if you're offended by language, it might not be the show for you, but give it a chance, because it really, truly will make you laugh.

Season 3's premiere date has been announced, December 6th, and the first 'teaser' has dropped. Check it out above and if you've missed the show, and want to see what you're missing, check out a recap of Season 1 below!
