Authorities in Texas are looking for a woman who has been crashing weddings and stealing gifts meant for the bride and groom since at least December. The woman, dubbed "The Wedding Crasher" by the Comal County Sheriff's Office, poses as a guest and then steals envelopes containing checks, gift cards, and cash.
The woman has grown more brazen recently. In early August, she reportedly hit two wedding venues within a couple of hours.
Officials were able to capture surveillance video of the woman leaving stores where she used the stolen gift cards. The department shared photos of the woman on Facebook, hoping the public can help track her down.
"The Comal County Sheriff's Office needs the public's assistance in identifying the Wedding Crasher before she strikes again. Let's not let her ruin anyone else's special day and bring this crasher to justice."
There is a $4,000 reward for any information that leads to the woman's arrest. You can submit an anonymous tip online at http://www.comalcrimestoppers.org.
