Los Angeles County Gas Price Drops For Seventh Consecutive Day

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped today for the seventh consecutive day, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $3.669.

The average price has dropped 3.1 cents over the past seven days, including six-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 13.3 cents less than one month ago but 2.9 cents more than one year ago.

The average price has risen 27.8 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped today for the eighth time in nine days, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $3.64. It is 3 cents less than one week ago and 10.8 cents lower than one month ago, but 6 cents more than one year ago.

The Orange County average price has dropped 3.4 cents over the past nine days, including a half-cent on Tuesday, and risen 29.1 cents since the start of the year.
