Pechanga Tribe, Los Angeles Rams Form Partnership

TEMECULA (CNS) - The Pechanga Resort Casino is the Los Angeles Rams' preferred Indian gaming enterprise, under a cross-promotional partnership approved today by the sports franchise and tribe.

``The Los Angeles Rams represent such a storied franchise. We are thrilled to join forces with a team that brought a Super Bowl run back to Los Angeles and has made such a deep commitment to the broader Southern California community,'' said Jared Munoa, president of the Pechanga Development Corp. ``This partnership will help us provide exclusive VIP experiences for our Pechanga guests while also engaging fans before, during and after games.''

The one-year mutual marketing compact, inked during a meeting in Irvine, will ensure that Pechanga has access to coveted stadium seating at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, has opportunities to deliver VIP events in association with the Rams, is a presenting sponsor during halftime shows and figures into Rams' media campaigns, according to the tribe.

``Pechanga shares our commitment to give back to our neighbors, and we are looking forward to developing meaningful programs with them to inspire Angelenos to shine bright,'' said Jason Griffiths, the Rams' vice president of partnerships. ``We are excited to welcome Pechanga to our family of partners and to work with them to enhance game days for our fans.''

Joint philanthropic ventures are planned under the agreement and will be announced in the coming months, according to the tribe.

In addition to the Rams, Pechanga maintains partnerships with the Angels and Lakers, officials said.
