LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped today for the 11th time in 12 days, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.765.
The average price has dropped 4.4 cents over the past 12 days, including two-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 2.1 cents less than one week ago and 3.1 cents lower than one month ago, but 10.3 cents higher than one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped nine-tenths of a cent to $3.718, after increasing one-tenth of a cent on Monday. It is 1.9 cents less than one week ago and 2.6 cents lower than one month ago, but 11.4 cents more than one year ago.
