Vehicle Involved in Hit-and-Run That Killed Holocaust Survivor Found

Police are still searching for the suspect in the Valley Village hit-and-run that took the life of 91-year-old Holocaust survivor, Gennady Bolotsky.

However, the vehicle involved in the accident, a GMC Sierra, has been found.

On June 17, Bolotsky was walking his dog, Leelah, across the street when he was struck by a car. He was taken the hospital where he died.

ABC reports that surveillance shows the suspect hitting Bolotsky, and then "running over his body".

Family members are still mourning his loss.

Bolotsky's granddaughter, Adriana, says, "The witness who saw the accident has not come forward yet. Judgment aside, we just need you to come forward and ID this person so we can make our world a little bit safer".

Bolotsky's son, Michael, had this to say, "He was supposed to live to 100 or more. At 91, he had more energy than a person half his life".

Los Angeles is offering a reward of up to $50,000 to anyone who may have information on the suspect.
