Massive Ladybug Swarm Appears on NWS Radar

Is it snow? A huge bout of rain?

No!

It's a massive swarm of ladybugs that caught the eye of the National Weather Service's radar.

Meteorologist Joe Dandrea says the swarm was about 80 miles wide as it flew over San Diego and that they were likely migrating from the Sierra Nevada to mate.
