Last week, a man out on parole for murder (who was also under the influence,) broke into a home in Redondo Beach. Gary Smith was home at the time, and he thankfully lived to tell his story.
According to officials, suspect Eric Terrell Davis broke into the home and immediately attacked. Smith had significant injuries to his head but fought back, and managed to get Davis out of his garage. When officers arrived, they found Davis around the corner attacking another woman getting ready to take her kids to school.
He was taken into custody after injuring three residents and a police officer.
