They've always said a picture can speak a thousand words and boy does this mugshot speak to us.
A man in Elk Grove was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of DUI and allegedly spit at the police officers.
Turns out he's a physical education teacher at Martin Luther King, Jr. K-8 in Sacramento, school district officials confirmed Thursday.
John Chandler was currently still a teacher when he was arrested Monday Sacramento City Unified School District spokesman Alex Barrios confirmed
It's not clear if he's still employed by the district.
“Personnel matters are confidential,” the district has said. “We are not at liberty to discuss them publicly. However, the district is treating this situation with the seriousness it deserves. We are listening and sympathetic to the concerns of parents and are working to address those concerns.”
According to the district's website he's still listed as a teacher.
But what everyone is really focusing on is his booking photo.
It takes guts to stick your tongue out with your eyes wide open.
