Average Southland Gas Prices Drop

U.S. Gas Prices Expected To Rise To Highest Levels Since 2014

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped a half-cent today to $4.115 after being unchanged for three consecutive days.

The average price is 1 cent less than one week ago but 22.7 cents more than one month ago and 41.4 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price dropped nine-tenths of a cent today to $4.087, the fourth decrease in five days.

The Orange County average price is 1.5 cents less than one week ago but 23.6 cents more than one month ago and 42.1 cents higher than one year ago. It has dropped 1.3 cents over the past five days, despite increasing one-tenth of a cent on Tuesday.
