One student has died and eight others were injured following a shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch in Colorado. All the victims were at least 15-years-old.
Two of the victims remain in serious condition at Littleton Adventist Hospital while three others were released. One victim was in good condition at Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora and two other victims were taken to Sky Ridge Medical Center where they are in stable condition.
Police have two people in custody and are clearing the K-12 school, which has over 1,800 students, room-by-room.
Authorities said the two suspects are students. One is an adult and the other is a juvenile. The adult suspect is reportedly a senior at the school.
Aerial footage showed young students being led out of the school with their hands in the air. They were being taken to a local rec center by bus where they will be reunited with their parents.
Authorities have not released the identify the suspects and did not say if they were students at the school.
confirmed they have received one patient and said they are in "good condition."
