Dutch cheese company Daily Dairy has created Guacamole Cheese to be released in 161 Fresh Market locations.
According to Fresh Market dietician Meghan Flynn, the product is a creamy, Gouda-style, hard cheese that blends real avocados with lime juice, chili, tomato, onion and garlic.
She recommends melting it over nachos or into queso for a "festive dip," but it's also great sliced on its own or with crackers.
A neat idea, but many are divided with some Twitter users saying they are "disgusted" by the cheese and others who think the combo is the peak of flavor fusion.
