CARSON (CNS) - A fire broke out this afternoon at an oil refinery in Carson.
The fire at the Phillips 66 facility at 1520 E. Sepulveda Blvd. was reported to the Los Angeles County Fire Department about 4:55 p.m.
County fire crews were dispatched to assist the facility's firefighters, a dispatcher said.
Firefighters poured water on the flames, which continued to burn as of about 5:45 p.m., according to reports from the scene.
No injuries were immediately reported.
