The California Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert for two kids who were reportedly taken by their father.
Officials say eight-year-old Miliana Aguirre and four-year-old Daniel Aguirre were last seen with their father early Tuesday morning in Marina del Rey. However, officials do not believe they are still in that area.
The CHP activated the alert based on information from the Bakersfield Police Department.
The father has been identified as Michael Aguirre, 31, and is "considered armed and dangerous."
Miliana is about 3'6" tall and weighs about 48 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, the CHP said. Daniel is described as 3', approximately 42 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees the suspect or children is being urged to call 911.
